LIC IPO Details: LIC is the only government-owned insurance corporation in India. It is the largest insurance firm in India, with a market share of around 64.1 percent in terms of premiums and 66.2 percent in terms of new business premiums. Unit linked insurance products, saving insurance products, term insurance products, health insurance, and annuity & pension products are among the company’s participating and non-participating insurance products.
It has a total AUM of Rs. 39,558,929.24 million as of 30 September 2021. In Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Kanpur, Patna, Bhopal, and Hyderabad, the company operates eight Zonal offices. The firm has 2048 branches, 113 divisional offices, and 1,554 satellite offices as of September 30, 2021. Fiji, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Kingdom are among the countries where it operates. It has the largest agent network of 1.35 million life insurance agents as of March 31, 2021.
