Steps to close the Upstox Account online

• Please submit a ticket here to close your account.
• Then, you will get a URL via SMS to your registered mobile number. The link would only be valid for 30 days.
• Open the link
• The Account Closure Request page will appear after you log in.
• Please ensure that your Demat account contains no holdings with a Maintain Zero Balance.
• If you have stocks, then sold them or You have the option of selling your holdings or transferring them to a different Demat account.
• You will need to select the reason for closure from the drop-down menu.
• When you have finished entering all of the information, the “Close Account” button at the bottom will become active.
• Close the account by clicking the button. After you submit the account closure request, it will take 8 to 9 working days to close your account.
