Davangere Sugar Company’s: basic strategy is to develop a sugarcane growing area. During the season 2020-21, The Company was having a sugarcane growing area of 8580 acres of land and crushed about 3,31,712 MTs of sugarcane. During the current season, 2021-22 the company’s strategy is to crush 5,50,000 MTs of sugarcane and to develop a sugarcane growing area of about 15,000 acres to ensure the availability of the sugarcane to the extent of 6,00,000 MTs every year.
